Welcome to my world!

You are about to embark on a journey into my inner most thoughts, my deepest feelings and my simplest emotions. I have spread my dreams under your feet, tread softly because you tread on my dreams...

I first started painting when I was quite young, living in Aruba, where I was born. Back then of course Art was just a hobby, and something that I did through out my teenage years to keep myself busy. But when I came to the Netherlands to study int.al. Law, painting became more than a hobby. It became a means of expression, a way that I could experiment with different themes, concepts or even simply undeveloped ideas that were in my mind. I would use different techniques, and different approaches to painting, whilst continually trying to find my own unique style. Update:
As of January 2012, I am taking a 6 months sabbatical to travel through Asia. On the blog sasenig.waarbenjij.nu/ is where my girlfriend and I will share our experiences and thoughts. We will be writing about Asian-art, history, food, culture, economics,  philosophy, etc. Feel free to check out our blog.
